   Austin Robert Carlile is an American musician from Pensacola, Florida. Graduated from Lehigh Senior High School. He was the lead vocalist for the former band Attack Attack! and is currently the lead vocalist of the metalcore band Of Mice & Men.He was born on September 27, 1987.

The song means doing what you want and being free from all people that say you can't do this and that. It's about living and doing whatever because you have the right to. It's the only life you get so live it to the fullest and forget rules sometimes. I also think this song is about being free to have fun and be you. In the music video they're doing things that they see as fun and the news people are calling them "hood rats" and Hooligans and I think this song is saying that you should just live in the moment and stop thinking about the future..this the title "Do it now, Remember it later.

The meaning that i think of the song is that he is reminiscing about a girl he used to go out with whom he loved, and now he's alone and feels sort of depressed, to the point where he feels like hurting himself because he doesn't think he can go on without her love and he misses her and he never stopped loving her, but she did so she tried blaming the whole situation on him so she could make the break-up easier on her conscious, so she was trying to trick him into feeling like the reason for the break-up when it was really her fault.He tried his hardest to tell her that they could make it work*tear my voice apart*

But she just had no feelings for him so he was just trying to make it work with someone who quiet frankly didn't want it to work out. *Scream at the drunken moon*. so there was nothing he could do, but accept the fact that it was over, but he wasn't capable of doing that. So the whole grieving process repeats itself day after day.

Of course you could just say as the person said above it's self explanatory and basically is about a guy who misses a girl, but there's a whole story that you're just scrapping which i felt i should tell you all about, this is my opinion on what the lyrics mean of course.
