Eminem- Not Afraid
Eminem- Hailies Song
This song is so sweet it shows his emotions for his daughter and just how much he loves her and how noone understands him but when he has his daughter with him it makes shit go away cause hes like his kryptonite this song makes me cry cause its so sweet.
Eminem- Headlights (Feat. Nate Ruess)
Im pretty sure that this song is an apology to his mom. He is telling her that he regrets writing badly about her in another song of his, Cleanin' out my closet (that he deleted from his track) where he called his mother a few names. So I'm coming home tonight
Well no matter what the cost ... And I was not afraid to die
this part was him technically saying that he wants to come home, no matter what the consequence is. All in all, this song is one of my favourites and I just learned all this information from the lyrics as well as some research. Just wanted to share it.

Eminem- Crack A Bottle
This is really evidently Eminem dipping his toes back in the water to see what people will say. And it's not bad, its about on par with Encore (which I didn't care for much), its just that songs like this don't really say much. Its kinda odd to think that the same guy that was saying all the intelligent things said on The Eminem Show would then turn around and sing a standard club banger. I think thats the only real downturn for him. People didn't appreciate Eminem in the first place because he got a club rocking, seriously, what? People dug him because of his insight and the truths he'd speak, his songs used to leak wisdom. It was the lines that weren't yelled loudest that stuck in your head. Who can possibly forget "amateurs drink veteran piss from a dixie cup"?
I just wish he'd fuck the world off again and rap for himself, not everyone else. And I still don't know what the hell 'let your body waddle' means.

Eminem- Cold Wind blows
this song has some good parts and some bad. the intro sounds really girlish and pop which i dont like. i like when eminem used to talk at the beginning of songs but he used have more clever things to say than what he said on this song. and he says he "hates the fame" which is an obvious lie. he used to feel this way and his featured artists used to back that up. but now he does shit with nicki minaj, lil wayne, drake, and takes pics with justin bieber. he used to hate the current pop acts of the 90s and early 2000s and he had a good reason, they make shit music.
but, he does have some very clever punchlines, wayyy better flow than on most of recovery, and disses. i dont like the fact that he ccnouldt find anyone clever to diss though. he had to re-do the whole elton john thing, which hes done a million times.

Eminem- Cleaning Out My Closet
I like the song cause it makes me love my parents even more every time I hear it. It doesn't really matter to me if Eminem is embelishing his past a bit or not, I'm sure he is to a certain extent, cause every kid does... but I'm also sure that there has to be truth to it too... Either way, I like the song and I think it's the best on his newest CD, but I still like songs like "Rock Bottom" from the first CD...
I wouldn't really consider myself a huge Eminem fan, but I really like the song, and I gotta say something to the kids out there... if you think your life sucks cause your parents won't drop 20 bucks on the newest toy, just listen to this song and realize how lucky you really are... I think that's a message that youth really need to get out of this song as well.

Eminem- 3 A.M
I think this song is about mental illness. When you have bipolar disorder, you will go crazy and fight with family or friends and then you don't remember why or even remember doing it. I think the whole song is about fights he's had. He talks about drug problems, alcohol problems, and I think the "i musta killed them" is just about how he must have fought with them.
Eminem- 25 To Life
it' about him realizing that being a hip-hop artist has taken over his life and pulled him away from everything he truly loves. it's about how even though he's sacrificed pretty much everything, he still hasn't gotten the thanks he deserves from the industry. he's trying to break away from the industry and all the evil inside of it because, now that he's sober, he sees that its taken away everything that he held dear.
Eminem- You're Never Over
He is talking about how his best friend proof (of d-12) got shot and killed and how much he misses him. Proof was one of his only true friends that he could trust no matter what happened or no matter what they went through.
It is also about a little more than a good friend... It is about finding out finally that there is more to the world then material things. It is about finding out through pain there is actually something more to life then ourselves and seizing that truth to better ourselves. He is talking about getting off drugs and such trying to do things for those around him rather then himself because he realizes.he will live on through his children... I hate the fact that so many rapper go on and on about Drugs, Wealth and Materiel shit!
Eminem- Space Bound
My interpretation for the song, taking in consideration also the video, is that everything that is said in the lyrics are just thoughts about getting in an emotional relationship. People, who believe in extreme love but were hurt badly because of this, sometimes take the decision to remain cold all their lives and not show emotions, because if feelings are involved things can get ugly and dangerous. The song is a fight between him and his subconscious for not opening up. The lyrics represent the subconscious, who is reminding him how love is evil. He meets someone new that wakes up his feelings and the subconscious wants to threaten her to stay away, his falling in love and it’s exactly how he thought it will be and he needs her help to end it. He tries to explain himself how much love is in him and how badly it’s going to end if things are moving further.
The only way he would open up for her is if she will convince him and promise him that it’s not going to hurt him, but nobody can make such commitment and he knows it. Although he will remain cold because of love’s nature, he wants to be remembered by her that he exists, their love cannot be saved because it’s too late, someone hurt him badly before and he cannot be the same. He compares himself with a racket ship which can go far into space. She is very close to him, (Earth — Moon) and from all the stars from a clear night sky he aims at her (The Moon). Telling her somehow what sacrifice she is considering his potential, but still, he “aims” at her.
Eminem- Insane
when "we made you" was released and he said "you think that's bad you should hear the rest of my album" and "can he come back as nasty as he can? yes he can can don't ask me this again" i almost didn't believe him but shady is a man of his word. this album teaches us to never doubt eminem. this song sounds like year 2000 eminem, who would have thought he could still rap like this. this song is really sick and disgusting but the talent and genious compacted into this 3 minutes will keep you smiling for the entire track. oh, nonsensical disgusting cartoon over the top violence raps that only eminem can do are the best.
Eminem- Cinderella Man
Obviously "Cinderella Man" is about Em feeling that by going through rehab and getting drugs out of his life that he got a second lease on life when he probably should of Od'd or died in some other way do to the drugs.
Eminem- Beautiful
I believe that this song starts with Eminem's personal story. He notes his absence from the world of hip-hop and says that no matter how hard he tries to communicate with his fans, they have to be trying to reach out for him as well. He also intimates that the song can be used for anyone who has ever felt down or has felt like an outsider.
Throughout the song, he tells of his own life, how it was hard for him to really believe in himself and that he had the ability to keep going with his songs. Even though he had people criticizing him for his songs, he kept getting back up and writing new ones. Over time, he started writing them in the style of other rappers just to try to fit in but he realized that no one took him seriously unless he was himself, so he wrote "Beautiful".
He distanced himself off from the rest of the world by keeping his thoughts to himself and doing drugs just to ease the pressure of everything else going on in his life. He finally accepted that he needed to reach out to someone and went through recovery, and it helped him go back to the true Eminem.
This song is meant for people who don't believe that they are worth anything. Eminem says that it doesn't matter how much you try to fit in with the "cool kids, even if it [means] acting stupid" because in the end, they will not be there for you. The only people who can call themselves your friend are the people who respect and like you for who you are. It shouldn't matter or affect you in any way when people start putting you down as long as you believe in yourself. Every person is beautiful and should neither judge nor be judged by other people until they have switched shoes with you, or you have changed places with them, to see qhat they have been through. Everyone has had different experiences and each perspective is different depending on what has happened to each person that makes them view the world, other people, songs, etc. in the way that they do. All you can do is be yourself and take control of your own life because you are the only one living it, and no one can take away your experiences or your future away from you.

A Day To Remember- The Downfall Of Us All
http://adtr.com/ I find this song just to be talking about how they had to tour for a long time. When they say don't forget that we made up our mind. The dotted line part is referring to their contract saying how they all did sign a deal to do this. I think the reason they say this town will be the downfall of us all is cause of the fact that as long as they're a band they have to go to a new town so often so in a sense any town they go to could be a downfall cause they don't know what will happen there. The line that you wont find him in the same spot is just saying that they don't get to stay in one spot for long. I think that is what the song is about.

A Day To Remember- All I Want
http://adtr.com/ This song is amazing i think its about not caring what people think and he just wants everyone to stop being so full of themselves and stop judging and lets get back to the way things were. Ialso think this is about why he writes/makes music, ("All I want is a place to call my own,and mend the hearts of everyone who feels alone") and how people don't believe in him or are being pessimistic about his future.. or even critical of his work ("While everyone around me says my last days are looming overhead
But just what the hell do they think they know?" & "everyone's always judging me. I'm not afraid of anything, and I've got the whole world in front of me").

Jimmy Eat World The Middle
A Trophy Father's Trophy Son Sleeping With Sirens
I think this song is about a boy who is becomming older (maybe a teenager) and is sstarting to now wonder where his father is and why he left him. The song says, "It's been hell not having you here, I've been missing you so bad and you dont seem to care." Maybe the son has tried to contact his father but he won't listen and shakes him off. "Do you even miss us, your bottle's your mistress." His father is a drunk who probably left his family for alchohol. "Why are you walking away? Was it something I did, did I make a mistake?" He (Kellin) thinks its his fault his father left. "I don't understand, is this how it ends?" He thinks he will never see his father again and doesnt understand what he did wrong."Is this what you call a family? Spent seven years wishing that you'd draw the line, but i carry the thought along with you in my mind." He wishes his father would just say he wasn't comming back or he was, wishing he would make up his mind. At this point he doesn't know if he can even call it a family since part of it is missing. He always is thinking about the chance he may come back and they can truly be a family.

Falling In Reverse Tragic Magic
ok so this song has a couple meanings.when he says 'i dug a hole, ten miles wide,so i can throw all of you inside' hes talking about etf.when he says 'your such a dumb fuck, you need to shut up,you bring a picture of me everytime you get your hair cut imposter' hes talking about craig and how craig looked like ronnei when ronnie was in jail and also tht craig needs to shut up about all the crap he was saying when ronnie was in jail.the first verse is all about how he almost died becuz of drug overdose.he basicaly turns tragedys into melodies.and before you go thinking oh eonnies a arrogant, selfish, conceded, selfcenterd bastard. note that he wrote this song in jail so he still had mixed emotions.
Lifehouse Halfway Gone
.
My interpretation of this song is that this guy's really into a girl and he's interested in starting a serious relationship with her. She leads him on, making him think they're on the same page, when in reality she hasn't decided what she wants, so she continues to stall. The song's lyrics as a whole represent a guy's last ditch efforts to get a girl to commit before he decides to abandon all hope and leave for good. The song's about telling that girl she should commit, or she will lose him forever. He wants her to be truthful to what she wants. He doesn't want to be with her if shes always going to want something (or someone) more.

Doomed Bring Me The Horizon
I could be wrong but here is my thoughts:
The first two verse's seem to be about giving up. Suffocating even. Feeling empty inside but still alive somehow.
Then it seems that he tried calling it quits and he couldn't do it or something stopped him.
After realizing he has more to do, he decided to keep on going and not quit no matter how hard life gets.

Avalanche Bring Me The Horizon
I think it could be the realisation that he doesnt fit in 'a square doesnt fit the circle'. He is the square. The rest of society or the people around him are the circle. This happened to me. At first I thought it is a new school and it is hard to fit in but after more a year, after trying to hang out with every crowd your age, younger than you, older than you, you come to the sudden realisation that you dont fit in, anywhere. It hits like an avalanche.

Join The Club Bring Me The Horizon
I feel this song is about people needing to realize they are not the only ones that are having struggles. The title and repeated lyric "Join the club" is enough to make one believe this song is about realization that others have similarities.
More directly this song seems to speak directly to those who might not be in the "IN" group, those who feel they are so different and dealing with so many struggles. The lyrics are to both clarify that 1.) they are not the only ones dealing with those issues or struggles and 2.) should stop making overly dramatic statements about everything - "just let me sink, let me sink into the fucking ground"..."fuck it". To me that is almost a call and response from someone looking for attention and someone who is tired of trying to help that person (which would explain the drop and softly spoken "fuck it" as if they are giving up helping them).
Additionally I believe this song is intended to provide peace of mind to those dealing with issues mentioned in the song (or any issue for that matter).
To me this is an example of a situation where people who do not "fit in" realize they do not need to, they fit in with each other and that is enough.
Lastly, my favorite line of this whole song is "We're all fifty shades of fucked up". When I first heard this song it was just background music while I was typing a paper, so I wasn't exactly paying attention to the song, but as soon as Oli screamed this line I popped my head up and raved about how true that was as well as it being a fairly clever line.
I see this lyric as the point to really ease the mind of who it is directed to, it is like saying "you have your problems, I have mine, he has his, she has hers, we ALL have problems, it does not matter who or what you are we all have problems and struggles and that is perfectly fine!" It is a way of showing someone they are not alone. Also, I am almost certain this was written as spoof of the Fifty Shade of Gray book series, which could provide an secondary meaning. That secondary meaning being directly related to the novel series itself, the fact that today's society is so enthused by sex that a book that glorifies sex, more specifically bondage, becomes a chart topper, bestseller, etc.
This is all my personal opinion, hopefully it can help you gain an understanding or give you an idea of what the lyrics mean.
It is not a complicated song to understand but I feel some people might over look subtle possibilities about it.
