The thing i like about his songs is that he uses his life ,, he puts his feelings into his songs ,, but that people can really take the songs and interpret it into their own lives i never ever felt so much emotions in songs as when i heard oliis music ... if you listen to this song it could be about love because he says no matter how fucked you get its always there when you come back down (meaning you know when you try to drown your sadness of being dumbed with geting high or drinking till you so pissed ? now wat hes tryna say is that hes obviously been with a girl ,, and she doesnt like the dark side of him ,, or his drug addiction so she told him to go to a shrink but he does this cuz he loves her and he doesnt want to lose her ,, but i think she alredy left him ,,and he says all he ever wanted he already had because he was happy with her and ya now hes tryna fight for her so hes goin to a shrink and a mental house or rehab

I think this song is about society and how screwed up it is. We think we live in a perfect world, but there are traitors everywhere, and the people who think they are rebels, but do nothing other than sitting by their computer screen, have to spring into action, but they're going to lose the battle anyway

It could be about a person who isn't good for you. You really love him/her but at the same time he/she doesn't care a bit about you. 
But since Oli said most songs of this album are about his addiction I this this 'person' is just a metaphor for the drugs.

True Friends Bring Me The Horizon

Oli Skyes penned the song about a previous relationship by which he was betrayed by his lover. He no longer wants anything to do with her and believes that he will get his revenge since karma cannot be escaped.

Crooked Young Bring Me The Horizon

This song is a direct criticism of the 12 step program to treat addiction. "Just a dozen steps and 28 days". For those not familiar with the 12 steps, the main pillar of the program is accepting god as your savior in various forms and admitting that you are powerless without him. This song is basically saying that there are some of us who have support in other places like friends and family and not in the "faceless" (god). As another user already pointed out, the parts about praising jesus are pure sarcasm.

Happy Song Bring Me The Horizon

This song could be about how his depression made him do things he's no so proud of, and the happy songs are to mask everything he did but no mater what he did or how loud he sang (tried to be happy) the depression always came back. Over all the song was, in my opinion, to express how in the end no mater how hard he tried he still was depressed. Or It can be about madness, he felt really bad, maybe it's about his addiction on drugs. He felt like his head is insane, he was depressed, but he refused to. So he wanted to get rid of it, he tried anything.

I think this song is about someone who was raised by wolves, notice the "So you can throw me to the wolves
Tomorrow I will come back leader of the whole pack" line.I think he was raised by wolves but decided one day he wanted to become an ordinary person so left the woods to become a member of society. It is about the difficulties of fitting in with modern society after being raised in the woods by wolves your entire life.
